The inaugural CrossOver Everything blog post!

The date is December 15, 2025. There's officially less than half a month before we reach 2026.

Seeing another the dawn of a new year is always a blessing I never let myself take for granted - especially when I look at how the lows have been in my life. These stories of course, will come up in due time down the road. Right now, with this post, I want to take a moment to reflect on acting on the opportunities that God has placed in front of me.

I've been at a place in my faith for over a year now where I can tangibly see and hear what God shows and speaks to me. Of course, this is an ability that is strengthened when you spend more time in your Bible, learning about how God has spoken to His prophets, kings and other believers - and what He has spoken to them about. For me, God's voice has come through tangibly with commands - mostly prayers for the longest time.

However, December 4th of last year was when God's will was crystal clear for me - to get focused and lock in on using this gift of music that He blessed me with since childhood to fulfill The Great Commission in Matthew 28:19. It has been a year since He spoke this plan for me into my life, and it has been a year of completely trusting God knowing that I can't see the finish line - or even checkpoints along the finish line.

In the spirit of keeping this blog post short, you can read more about how God has blessed me with regards to my musical journey for Him here (https://crossovereverything.com/pages/meet-our-founder). I couldn't be more grateful for who God has placed in my life since He called me by name. He is a God worth trusting above all.

I'm actually in the process of talking to one of my closest friends (Seth) as I finish this post up. I don't like to make details of my personal relationships public, but I want to say having someone like Seth in your life is a blessing - and not because of what his friendship gets me from him in terms of favours. I consider myself very fortunate to have seen how he's grown in maturity, skill, status and closer to God since we first met online in 2022. Being able to see your close friends grow into who God made them to be is a gift from The Most High.

I want to end this blog off with a challenge to reflect for a bit this week and think of a friend in your life who has grown since you met them. I have MANY I can pull from as examples but I encourage you to pause and talk to someone whose growth has impressed you this year. Scripture says in Proverbs 27:17 that "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another," so before the year ends, encourage someone with a reflection on their growth as a person.

I hope all of my blogs don't turn out this long, but if they do, I hope you'll continue checking in! Merch is available for those wanting to scoop up a quick gift or tone setter heading into 2026, feel free to check them out too. I will have more news for you soon, but none as good as The Good News. Let's all keep putting Jesus first and what He did on the cross over everything!
